  • Adults (18 years and over): Records are retained for at least 7 years from the date of the last consultation.

  • Children (under 18 at the time of consultation): Records are retained until the client turns 25.

These retention periods reflect the standard recommendations for client-consultation records in Australia and ensure appropriate protection for both clients and practitioners.

Extended retention
